Job Scope: 

Work closely with business users and technical vendors to gather requirements, design, and deliver upgrades to SharePoint-based intranet and service platforms, ensuring solutions are suitable for purpose, scalable, and compliant with IT policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical vendors and internal stakeholders to provide maintenance and support of SharePoint solutions, Nintex software, Secure File Transfer including patching, security remediation, log review, ensuring alignment with requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with technical vendors and internal stakeholders to design, enhance, develop and maintain SharePoint applications, workflows (using Nintex Workflow), PowerShell scripts, and JavaScript to automate business processes and enhance platform functionality.
  • Provide maintenance support for the SharePoint-based intranet platform and ensure timely delivery of SharePoint administration tasks in alignment with project milestones, maintaining quality standards and performance benchmarks throughout.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing including unit testing, SIT, and UAT phases, troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth delivery and optimal system performance.
  • Responsible for the upgrade of enterprise SharePoint applications in cloud environments, including cutover planning, rollback procedures, and post-upgrade validation.
  • Provide continuous operational support throughout the SharePoint platform lifecycle, including incident resolution, system maintenance, and performance optimisation in line with ITIL practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and user manuals, collaborating with business users, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.

Job Qualifications: 

Core Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a relevant SharePoint development and administration role, with demonstrated proficiency in designing, configuring, and delivering SharePoint solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience migrating or upgrading enterprise applications in cloud environments, including cutover planning, rollback procedures, and post-migration validation.

Technical Experience

  • Experience with SharePoint products across multiple versions. Preferably with hands-on experience in MS SharePoint 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Subscription Edition. 
  • Experience in workflow and scripting development, including Nintex Workflow, preferably with PowerShell scripting and JavaScript.
  • Experience working within cloud environments is advantageous.
  • Certification in relevant Microsoft or SharePoint technologies is advantageous.

Other Requirements

  • 5 or more years of operational support experience, including ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management, as well as technical documentation practices.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive testing including unit testing, SIT, and UAT phases, with a track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders on requirements gathering and solution presentation.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent IT discipline.
